Course description

It was designed according to United States Golf Association (USGA) standards, in relation to the tees, bunkers, drainage and greens. The greens are on average more than 500 m2. The fairways are extremely varied, of ample width, and frank, as obstacles are visible before taking a shot. Each hole has three, four or five teeing areas, so that hole length can be modified, and an the highest level of maintenance ensured. The tees are raised in relation to the fall of the ball, so that the spectacular flight of the ball is visible at all times.
Facilities
At present there is a 300 sqm. temporary Club House to cover all the basic services: restaurant with a very nice terrace overlooking the sea and the mountains of Mijas, Pro-Shop, Changing rooms, caddiemaster and offices. In the future The Club House will be of an Andalucian stlye and will cover an area of 1,100m2. Within this space we will have areas exclusively for members only, as well as a luxurious restaurant, café with an impressive terrace looking over the sea and putting green. There will also be a reception area, offices, spacious changing rooms, storage areas for members´ golf clubs and buggies, as well as a Pro Shop stocked with the best quality products.

Directions
From the N-340, take the "Cala de Mijas" exit towards the Mijas Golf Valley, and after 600m in the roundabout turn 90 degrees left, pass the Calanova Golf Sales Office and follow the Calanova Golf Club signs.
